What is On Bike Share and how does it benefit our residential or multi-family community? The On Bike Share system offers your residents a fun and sustainable way to excercise and get around. Whether they use the bikes for recreation or transportation, sharing bikes help people make healthy choices and reduces our reliance on bicycles. How can our residential or multi-family complex implement On Bike Share? Start by choosing the bike model that best fits your location and style. Next, request a quotation for the number of bikes you'd like to start with. Next, select a location for the bikes -- locations close to leasing centers or other amenities tend to be best. The bike racks need a concrete pad for the installation; no electrical is needed. We can provide you with a drawing that shows the pad size(s) needed for your system. Once you place your oder, the system is delivered in just a few weeks. Is On Bike Share suitable for both small and large residential communities? We typically receommend 1 bike for every 30 units at your property. The minimum system size is 5 bikes. If you're new to bike share and want to stall small, that's fine. Even a small system can have a big impact. You can always expend the system later on based on demand. How do residents access the bikes? The On Bike Share system comes with an App that your tenants use to checkout bikes. The system is fully automated, so tenants can checkout bikes anytime without requiring any staff time. How do we maintain the bikes? It's your choice. If you have an on-site facilities or maintenance team, they can maintain the bicycles using the tools we provide and the library of videos available on our Customer Resources Site. Alternatively, we offer on-site bike maintenance plans that include monthly on-site service visits to inspect, tune-up and service bikes. All maintenance is recorded so you have a log of all work being done. Can we customize the branding of the bike-sharing program to match our community's aesthetics? Yes! Customizing the bikes is included with every system. When you provide us your logo, we will send you a mockup of you system for your review. We want the system to be uniquely yours, so we offer branding on the bike frame, baskets as well as custom painting of key bike components to color match your logo. How can On Bike Share promote a sense of community within our complex? Bike share attracts people who appreciate the value of reducing individual consumption, and sharing resources such as bicycles. It allows many more people with access to the benefits of cycling without every individual needing to own and maintain their own bikes. What type of support and assistance does On Bike Share offer to our community? On Bike Share comes with an extended warranty on all equipment and free lifetime support. We also provide personalized training with each system and a dedicated team of support people ready to help whenever needed. What impact can On Bike Share have on the image and appeal of our community? Since the bicycles come custom-branded with your logo, they show off your brand everywhere they go.
