- Number of bikes
- Number of racks
- System type (amenity or paid rentals)
- Destination shipping
If you're not sure how many bikes you need, here are some guidelines:
Location/Use | Minimum Number of Bikes | Recommended Number of Bikes |
Multi-Family Property - Amenity | 5 | One (1) bike for every 40-50 units |
Corporate Campus - Amenity | 5 | One (1) bike for every 15-20 riders in program. Participation may range from 20-30% of total employee population |
College University - Amenity | 5 | One (1) bike for every 15-20 riders in the system. Participation may range from 25-35% of total student population |
Hotel - Amenity | 5 | One (1) bike for every 30-40 rooms |
Hotel - Paid Rentals | 20 | One (1) bike for every 30-40 rooms |
Workforce Housing - Amenity | 5 | One (1) bike for every 15-20 riders in program. Participation may range from 20-40% of total workforce population depending on transportation alternatives |
Automated Bike Rentals - Paid Rentals | 20 | Vary based on location, population, tourist volume, competition, pricing, etc. |
